It all began with a few like minded individuals, sitting on a broken bench at humble road side tea shop. There, over cups of tea and conversation filled with hope, they nurtured a share dream – a dream of a place where the flowers of knowledge would bloom. A place where children, adults, men and women could come together to break the chains of proverty to rewrite the destinies and walk towards a life of dignity, learning and light.
What started as a quiet vision at the corner of a street became the seed of a movement to change life’s cycle into one of purpose and progress.

Through our free coaching center Anandapathshala in Sarsuna, we empower young minds not just with academic knowledge, but with creative skills like art, craft, dance, drawing, and elocution—nurturing both intellect and personality.
In the challenging terrains of Samsernagar, near the Sundarbans, we run Ramkrishna Arogya Niloy—a lifeline for villagers who face daily battles with poverty, distance, and even Bengal tigers. With support from Ramkrishna Mission and our dedicated volunteers, we provide regular allopathic and homeopathic treatments, free medicines, and compassionate care where no one else reaches.
Our future is full of hope—with plans to upgrade to a fully equipped two-bed health unit with essential diagnostic tools. Every step we take, every service we provide, is part of a larger mission—to uplift, heal, and transform lives.

Our Movement Towards Society
Anandapathshala: A Dream Project for Holistic Education
We believe that education is both the means and the end of a better life. As a means, it empowers individuals to earn a livelihood. To serve this belief, Behala Sujan has started its dream project—Anandapathshala, a free educational coaching centre located at our premises in Sarsuna, Kolkata 700061.
Our educational model includes not only academic coaching but also co-curricular activities like dance, drawing, art & craft, and elocution. These are designed to ensure that students enjoy learning while developing their overall personality.
Learning Computer at Anandapathshala
Recognizing the importance of digital literacy, we have introduced a basic computer training course at Anandapathshala. This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and equip students—particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds—with essential computer skills for learning and future employment.
